Dr. Tyler Owens

Dr. Tyler Owens grew up in St. George, Utah. Upon receiving his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Brigham Young University, he attended the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. Owens participated in multiple mission trips to underserved areas of the world, where he discovered his passion for pediatric dental care. Treating children during these trips led him to complete his residency and training at NYU Lutheran Pediatrics. Dr. Owens is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) and the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD).

As a board-certified pediatric Dentist, like Dr. Owens, has gone through a rigorous examination process with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Only Dentists that have completed a residency in pediatric dentistry can sit for the board certification examinations. Board certification tests the knowledge and problem-solving abilities of a pediatric Dentist. In our opinion, taking your child to see a certified pediatric Dentist is as important as taking them to a pediatrician.

Dr. Owens and his wife, Kristen, have four children: Ryan, Ryder, Olivia, and Charlotte. When he is not in the office, Dr. Owens loves outdoor activities, learning new things and spending time with his family. Fun Fact: Dr. Owens has NEVER had a cavity!

Dr. Joshua Bullock

Dr. Joshua Bullock grew up in Mesa Arizona. While attending BYU Josh majored in Exercise Science and minored in Chemistry. He was active in the pre-dental club and served as president of the club during his senior year. He was also active in volunteering and served as volunteer coordinator for Give Kids a Smile. This helped influence his decision to pursue a career in pediatric dentistry. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, Dr. Josh attended Roseman University’s College of Dental Medicine.

During his studies at Roseman, treating patients and learning more about the practice of dentistry shaped his desire to provide the best possible oral health care to under-served pediatric populations. Dr. Josh was awarded a scholarship from the National Health Service Corps, one of only 27 dental students across the country to receive the award. After dental school Dr. Josh trained as a pediatric dentist at The Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage Alaska through NYU’s Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Josh is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) and The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD).

Josh, his wife Jourdan, and their four children Teddy, Sage, Clae, and Flora love to spend time together outside. Hiking, camping, fishing, riding bikes, enjoying nature, and even building igloos!

Dr. Betsy Rogers

Dr. Elizabeth “Betsy” Rogers grew up in southwestern Indiana and graduated magna cum laude from Saint Louis University with a degree in biology. She returned to Indiana to attend dental school at the Indiana University School of Dentistry. Rounding out her tour of the Midwest, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in Lima, Ohio. She concluded her training with a 2-year Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry residency, serving as chief resident in her second year, at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska (same as Dr. Bullock!)

Since graduation, Dr. Rogers has served as faculty at three pediatric dental residencies – in Alaska, Missouri, and Kansas. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She enjoys teaching new generations of pediatric dentists, as well as educating her patients and their families about their oral health. She finds it especially satisfying to help anxious children overcome their fears and grow into confident dental patients.

Dr. Rogers lives in Springfield with her boyfriend and three cats (Tonks, Pippa, and Clementine). She has completed multiple genealogy certificate programs, and loves helping people untangle their family trees, as well as working with colleagues to solve criminal cases using DNA. She also loves to run, bike, and travel the world. If she’s out of the office, she’s probably on top of a mountain somewhere!
